Summary
Kaskaskia Engineering Group, LLC (KEG) was contracted by Vanderburgh County, Indiana to oversee the construction of roadway and bridge repairs along North Green River Road from Lynch Road to Millersburg Road in Evansville.
Project
The project consisted of the removal, regrading, and replacement of the Pigeon Creek Bridge approach slab; replacement of the barrier transition walls at Pigeon Creek Bridge; milling and overlay at all existing storm sewer roadway crossings; concrete grouting under all approach slabs; repair of the barrier wall of the overflow bridge; asphalt crack sealing throughout the project limits; replacement of curb and gutter at Pigeon Creek Bridge; grouting under existing wing walls; and new pavement markings.
KEG personnel provided construction engineering services, including supervision, materials testing, materials certification, and all documentation for this project. KEG completed final measurements, calculations, and contract records and submitted them to the Vanderburgh County Engineer. KEG also provided Quality Assurance oversight for the Contractor’s Quality Control.
KEG staff worked closely with the County Engineer to complete this project on a timely basis and in accordance with Indiana Department of Transportation Standard Specifications and Guidelines.
