Summary
Kaskaskia Engineering Group, LLC (KEG) provided engineering services to replace the existing south pump station with a mechanically driven pump and gravity drainage system for the Carlyle Lake Fish and Wildlife Area in Fayette County, Illinois for the Illinois Capital Development Board.
Project
The modification to the project utilized one of the existing concrete drainage structures for the installation of a new drainage gate. KEG completed the design for the project consisting of site improvements including existing pump removal, concrete vault renovation, new drainage pump, sluice gate, grading, segmental retaining wall, aggregate paving, and other related work.
Structural engineering included a site visit to evaluate the existing structure and design a new surface/wall in the existing structure for the new drainage gate.
